Elevation Recruitment Group are looking to recruit a results-driven Commercial Accountant for a leading multinational manufacturing organisation based in Doncaster.
The primary purpose of the role will be to produce sales and profitability reporting, variance analysis and commentary to support the European business - dealing regularly with key stakeholders across the business both in the UK and overseas to support their decision making.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Analysing sales, margin and inventory results and reporting on performance of all sites across Europe
* Reviewing product costing, cost overheads, cost absorptions and other data utilised by costing to ensure product cost accuracy
* Analysing margin by operating division and by customer on a monthly basis in total and down to item where necessary
* Managing inventory obsolescence exposure and review excess inventory
* Responsible for analysing and reporting KPIs
* Ensuring accuracy, relevance and value add of monthly reporting
* Working in collaboration with the other company employees to ensure continuous improvement and effective business decision making
The successful candidate will require the following:
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
* Product costing exposure within a manufacturing environment
* Ability to build effective relationships cross-functionally at all levels
* Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel
