Offered on a 6 month fixed term contract with a possibility of an extension or a permanent role, an exceptional role is on offer to transform a transactional function. Managing a small team on a day to day basis, you will be given full scope to streamline and improve the department.

The department are responsible for the full processing of both sides of the ledger, with staff having specific responsibilities for areas of purchase ledger and credit control. Your role will be to ensure the ledgers are accurate, financial controls are adhered to and routine analysis and reporting are completed. As part of the contract you will also look to review processes, procedures and systems with a view to improving the workflow within the department.

Applicants should possess experience of purchase ledger / accounts payable and credit control / accounts receivable with a good understanding of double entry book keeping. Alongside these skills, you must be able to demonstrate previous management capabilities along with process improvements. With a desire to complete projects and add value, excellent communication and leadership skills are desired along with strong Excel skills.
