Management Accountant - Leominster, Hereford - £30,000 - £35,000 per annum - Hays Accountancy & Finance


My client a leading and growing retail business based in Leominster, Herefordshire are seeking a driven and dynamic Management Accountant on a permanent basis report directly into the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for the integrity of the financial statements and assist with daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the organisation. Your key duties will include the preparation and management of weekly/monthly reports for the board of directors, month-end reporting including the preparation of journals and balance sheet reviews. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, cash flow and financial information. You will be expected to liaise with auditors at year-end and analyse cost centres for reviews with budget holders.

For this dynamic Management Accountant role you will be ideally qualified or finalist (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience with strong communication skills and previous experience with budgeting/forecasting. Strong Excel skills are essential along with the ability to work on your own initiative with an analytical approach. Having previously worked within the retail sector would be advantageous.

This Management Accountant position is offering a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum and competitive benefits including a study package, contributing pension scheme, flexi-time and product discounts.
