Treasury Accountant job in London within a debt focused business to manage technical accounting for treasury

Your new company
This fast growing treasury advisory company focuses on providing debt advise to large corporates, FTSE 100 companies and other debt heavy companies. The business has doubled in size over the last few years, and due to this there is an abundance of opportunity to progress your career. This role will have you working with the treasury advisory team, and taking ownership for all technical accounting under IFRS 9, IFRS 7 and 13, along with loan / derivative valuations, broader hedging advisory and treasury accounting.

Your new role
As treasury accountant you will be providing advise to the business and their clients on technical accounting, loan valuations, derivative valuations, broader hedging advisory and getting involved in wider debt advisory for the business. You will assist with providing operational, accounting and strategic treasury advice and support to retained and project clients, manage daily and other periodic client reporting, and treasury accounting. You will be working in a team of 4 treasury professionals, all with extensive debt advisory experience, and have the opportunity to broaden your treasury and debt experience.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have good technical accounting understanding, be either a qualified accountant or part qualified, have knowledge of IFRS 9, hedge accounting and treasury. The business is looking for someone that shows potential and are willing to develop you further, required you have treasury understanding and knowledge of technical accounting. You will have either qualified in practice or worked within a treasury focused technical accounting role in industry.
