Accounts and Audit Senior

Royston, Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire border. A respected Accountancy practice are looking for a Nearly/Newly qualified Accounts and Audit Senior to join their growing team.

Reporting directly into a Manager and in-directly to the Partners you will be joining a firm that has seen growth success across all offices in and are looking to maintain this for the forthcoming year. The firm deal with a varied client based from sole traders through to large limited companies and partnerships, providing a full accounting, audit and taxation service to this clients. A social office that support professional development and will challenge you technical abilities enabling you to improve.

The role will be split between both accounts and audit with a 60% bias towards accounts and associated taxation requirements. You will be expected to provide a high level of service and attention to detail in year-end accounting, audit and taxation compliance encompassing ad-hoc duties such as bookkeeping, management accounting to a wide range of clients. You will support senior staff in complex audits while leading and mentoring juniors in less complex processes including consolidation work. You will continue your progression professionally with a structured pathway to see progression with the firm boasting success stories internally.

The successful applicant will be nearly or newly qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 3 years experience within the profession. You will have the ability to engage with clients and be the point of contact for various queries in the absence of a Manager. The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail, ability to multi task and provide a high level of service. Salary £33,000 - £37,000 (DoE)
