Responsibilities
- Producing monthly management reporting accurately and on time, as well as any ad hoc reporting
- Driving commercial profitability by providing clarity and transparency around performance with insightful analysis and commentary.
- Undertaking decision-support analysis to facilitate various business decisions.
- Business partnering with senior operations personnel.
- Day to day management of the accounts function (Accruals, AR, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Payroll).
- Liaising with external accountants on matters relating to local regulations.
- Assisting in the preparation for annual statutory audit and support external accountants.
- Calculating and paying local taxes, ensuring we are fully compliant
Skills and experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Eagle-eyed ability to spot trends and pick out inaccuracies.
- You really really love numbers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Inquisitive and analytical mind, you thrive on tackling complex problems, and constantly building and refining process with rigour and diligence.
- Not afraid to challenge the status quo.
