Job Title: Project AccountantLocation: Hertfordshire
Salary: 25K - 30K
Our client, an innovative global organisation are looking to source a Project Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The role will be to manage and administer a portfolio of projects including monthly reporting of budgets, cash flow management and monthly forecasting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts
-Manage project cash flows
-Preparation of monthly accounts
-Monthly reconciliations
-Timely preparation of project sales invoices
-Authorisation of project related invoices/costs
-Calculation of Project profit share
-Involvement in Quarterly Performance Reviews with the wider Project Team and preparation for an attendance at Quarterly Financial Reviews.
-Ensure that all projects are properly set up and processed on Oracle
-Support PO/procurement process on Oracle
-Build and maintain strong working relationships with Project Accountants and the wider finance team
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant accounting qualification with experience in project accounting. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills would be essential and a sound knowledge of Oracle would also be desirable.
