Credit Controller (Dutch Speaking)

They currently have a rare opportunity for a dynamic and confident Dutch Speaking Credit Controller to join their already thriving team. The role will be based out of modern offices, in the Sheffield City Centre, meaning that it is easy to access by both car and via public transport.

The main purpose of the role is to manage your own portfolio of accounts, collect payment of invoices in accordance with the agreed payment terms through the development of sound working relationships with clients. Also, to ensure that queries are resolved efficiently and that client accounts are accurately maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Take full responsibility for managing all the financial aspects of a portfolio of accounts
* Ensure a very high standard of service is provided to both internal and external clients
* Collect payment of invoices via telephone, letter and email in accordance with agreed client payment terms on nominated accounts
* Ensure an appropriate ageing profile is maintained and collection targets are achieved
* Reconcile nominated client accounts and maintain the accuracy of client account balances
* Ensure that standards and level of telephone collection activity are maintained at agreed levels
* Take full responsibility for managing invoice queries, ensuring an efficient and effective resolution
* Process all requests for credit from their nominated sales teams in accordance with the policy
* Ensure that reporting requirements on nominated client accounts are adhered to
* To provide cover for the duties performed by other members of the finance department as may be required from time to time
* Be proactive in suggesting and implementing improvements to reporting & procedures, including assisting in documenting all existing processes and procedures.

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following skills and experiences:

* Fluent Dutch speaking (Both oral and written skills)
* Strong customer service background
* Good negotiation skills
* Previous experience within finance/ Credit Control
