Accounts and Audit Senior for an organically growing business in Wakefield. Up to £35000 & Benefits

Your new company
An organically growing practice built on fantastic foundations based in the centre of Wakefield, with a substantial Yorkshire client base.

Your new role
This is a mixed senior accounts and audit position based in Wakefield. Working across a mixed client base from all sectors of the market, you will be responsible for:

- Production of statutory accounts
- An element of bookkeeping,
- Corporation tax computations,
- Accounts advisory, acting as an outsourced function to firms who have a small finance team
- Voluntary and compulsory Audits

Reporting in to a Manager, you will be responsible for taking on the end to end file for a client, with only the final sign off coming from a partner.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have accounts and audit experience across a broad range of clients and will have covered everything from accounts preparation to tax and audit. You will have a practice background and will be detail orientated in your approach. You will be happy speaking with clients face to face and dealing with queries, problems and opportunities in equal measure.
