West End based Private Equity firm is looking to secure a Finance Manager for a newly created role. The fund have been in existence for over ten years with a superb reputation and highly diverse portfolio of mid cap organisations in Europe. This is a highly commercial role split evenly between managing all corporate accounting for their LLP/management entities in addition to taking on significant ad hoc financial analysis related to their portfolio companies.

The core corporate accounting and management accounting is relatively straight forward with an expectation that whoever joins can improve and polish up what is currently in place. It's expected this will take up about 50% of the role. The other half of your position with involve ad hoc and project based financial analysis. This could be very basic cash flow monitoring or management information requests through to more complex scenario and 'what if' analysis. You need to be comfortable in an incredibly hands on role that will involve everything, from basic management accounting through to the more commercial and strategic aspects of finance.

The ideal candidate will be in the 'up and coming' category and likely have 3 to 5 years post qualification experience (or equivalent) in a Management Accountant, Financial Analyst or FP&A / Business Partnering role. The company are very open to candidates from commerce and industry or financial services but need someone used to a fast paced working environment. Your CV should show solid career progression and a track record of working in an analytical role, dealing with stakeholders in and out of finance. The position is also best suited to someone comfortable working in a relatively fluid environment.

The culture of the business is its strongest selling point with a genuinely empowering working environment and CFO who is committed to teaching and mentoring everyone in finance. There's regular drinks and social activities and they recently moved to brand new offices with an in house gym, state of the art kitchen and break out area and roof terrace which comes in handy when it's sunny. It's a down to earth and supportive culture and would suit someone who is easy going, good humoured and career minded.

Salary on offer is £60-70,000 (DOE) base plus above market benefits and bonus (25 to 30% as a guide). Please apply online for immediate consideration or for more information or a confidential discussion, please contact Glen Roberts at Marks Sattin
