Description:
Our client is a British multi-national business in the Engineering industry; looking for an extremely high calibre Corporate Finance Assistant Director to join the team. This role offers strong progression through the business to Director as well as competitive salaries and bonuses.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sourcing new transactions and ensuring open communication lines with other senior members of the team
- Preparation of reports on potential transactions for internal consumption
- Lead on the development of proposals and pitch packs to be sent to clients
- Managing new clients.
- Developing a strong network of clients/targets through business development activities
- Contribute to the development of service offering methodology and market knowledge through involvement in technical and sector-based taskforce's
- Manage finance raising processes to procure equity/debt and facilitating commercial terms negotiations
- Project management of activities during transactional phase on M&As including managing other advisor's, interfacing with clients, interfacing with vendors and managing communication with vendor advisor's
- Manage the development of complex financial models
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in financial advisory Big 4
- Professional financial qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CFA)
- 10+ years experience
- Proficiency in a foreign language
- Knowledge of the following sectors – utility / transport / Infrastructure
- Strong financial modelling experience
- Solid analytical skills
- Multi-tasking effectively and balancing time between project delivery and business development support effectively
- Ability to work to fast deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, including an ability to engage actively with other team members, as well as a wide range of external clients and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel beyond the UK
