greenwellgleeson are actively recruiting a Commercial Finance Manager for their international brand. You will be a significant member of the SMT and liaise with the Commercial/Salaes/Marketing leaders as well as the MD.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the production of revenue and gross margin information and seek clear concise and informative reporting.

- Monitor and review customer/product/brand profitability.

- Review business performance at a gross margin generation level & prepare analysis and recommendations.

- Co-ordinate sales and margin budgeting and re-forecasting with relevant stakeholders.

- Drive improvements in the quality of information used and adopted by the commercial team.

- Provide regular supporting analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of existing business projects (such as marketing spend).

- Be the finance lead in supporting and challenging the commercial team on new projects - evaluate, tabulate financial aspects and clearly communicate financial implications and recommendations.

- Work with the Management Team to improve customer profitability, drive change by improved financial discipline, and providing financial insight to enable the growth of this business segment.

- Support the programme of acquisition growth involving loan finance and liaise and manage the interaction between customer, lawyers, and other relevant parties.

- Improve and maintain internal controls over customer retrospective and other discounts and the evaluation of these on performance.

- Facilitate and lead change in developing financial business skills of the Commercial team, accelerating transition from "Account Managers" to "Business Managers".

- Manage discussions with key budget holders' before/during/after the budget process.

- Responsibility for development one direct line report.

* ICAEW, CIMA or ACCA qualified.

* Minimum 2 years post qualified and relevant experience.

* Proven SAP expertise and Business Warehouse ("BW") report writing capabilities.
