An opportunity for a Graduate or AAT Qualified candidate has arisen within a market leading organisation in Solihull who are looking for a good Assistant Accountant to join their ranks, and aid the reporting on a series of accounts, whilst developing great accounting skills, on a starter path to become a qualified Accountant. The purpose of the role is to assist a network of Accountants in the journalling, reporting and management of monthly accounts for review by senior stakeholders. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:- Assist with the production of monthly accounts- Join in with analysis of variance and KPI's to help identify areas of strength and weakness- Production of adjustments, accruals and prepayment journals to ensure accurate and timely records- Liaise with multiple Accountants on a series of different projects to help get them over the line- Suggest ways to improve processes and create a better environment for efficiency, to help achieve more as a collective If you're AAT qualified with some experience, or a graduate looking to build on your accounting skills, this could be a great opportunity to step into a good company and gain valuable experience.
