UK Finance Manager

Element Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established and reputable client to recruit a UK Finance Manager. This position is a recognised internal gateway to wider business opportunity and has been created organically through internal promotion.

The role

As a UK Finance Manager, you will be responsible for;

• Ongoing management of a team of 4 financial accountants and assistant financial accountants
• Month end/Year end accounting requirements
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the UK’s accounting records and financial systems
• Responsible for UK reporting of financial performance on a timely basis, including related management reports
• Timely production / review of regulatory reports
• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
• Ongoing business partnering with numerous senior stake holders including CFO
• Any other ad-hoc project requirements

The Profile

• Ideally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3-5 years PQE or relevant experience
• Comfortable working in a dynamic business environment
• Strong interpersonally with an ability to engage with finance/non-finance staff
• Ideally 1-3 years experience within a similar position
• Good time management skills
• Intermediate Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Sum if’s)
