Our client, a highly successful engineering business are seeking to recruitment a commercially focussed Financial Controller to join the team. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for directing and overseeing all of the financial activities to ensure that the business establishes and maintains excellent financial management and controls within the legal framework to ensure that financial security is maintained. Main duties will include;

Manage the company's finances
Deliver measurable increases in the company's financial performance
Produce monthly management accounts
Produce annual financial budgets targets and to report monthly on budgetary performance
Prepare and present reports to the Company Board
Ensure that the company meets it statutory accounting reporting requirements
Provide commercial & financial guidance to the management team
Ensure good working relationships are managed and maintained with auditors, bankers, insurers, HMRC etc
Manage central business costs such as fleet, mobiles and utilities
Audit preparation and working with external auditors
Supervision of a team of 6
