Audit Manager Sheffield £40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits

CRA Financial are delighted to be working on behalf of a global professional services business with a strong global presence. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who has an excellent track record of working in audit in practice and is looking for the next step within a dynamic firm with a strong presence both within South Yorkshire and across the UK. The organisation provide a wide range of audit and assurance services to private, public and international companies across various sectors.

The Role
You will be responsible for work being carried out on a timely profitable basis. You will also be responsible for ensuring staff are managed and developed to the maximum of their potential and to assist in the development of the office.

Specific responsibilities include:
*Management of a key portfolio of clients and maintaining a good working relationship with colleagues and clients
*Assist the Audit partner in establishing objectives and overall scope
*Review the work of incharge accountants and also office specialists (tax, risk)
*Ensuring files are properly reviewed and audit files are completed in a timely manner
*Determine that audit reports reflect the work performed and meet set reporting standards.
*Assist with proposals for new work
*Organise and attend office marketing events and be aware of the wider services the firm offers
*Leading motivating and coaching team members and providing feedback through regular appraisals whilst being familiar with relevant training and development options that will help them achieve their potential experience / education / qualifications required

The Person

*Ideally you will be qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
*You will have significant experience in audit within practice, with exposure to dealing with your own portfolio of clients, and have a good working knowledge of compliance and regulation
*You will also have experience of managing large audits and exposure to dealing with complex groups in additional to dealing with technical matters
