6 Month Fixed Term Contract - Stonehouse - Immediate Start - Purchase Ledger





Your new company
A successful organisation based within the oil and gas industry is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis. This is a full time position working 8-5pm, paying £20,000 - £23,000 dependant on experience. You will be based in Stonehouse in Gloucestershire with onsite parking provided.


Your new role
As an Accounts Payable Clerk you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices and expenses. You will be working as a key member within the AP team in order to resolve any discrepancies or queries . Your main responsibilities will include; processing invoices for payment and entering data onto the system, processing analysing and refunding requests, processing payment information in accordance with terms, analysing vendor accounts for accuracy and checking credit balances, answering the telephone and any queries, building rapport with internal and external contacts and other duties as requested by management.


What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have recent experience working in a similar Accounts Payable role. It is essential that you have strong problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to work well both independently and within a team. Strong communication skills are also highly important for this role.
