Compliance Analyst

HFG are recruiting a Compliance Analyst to join a mid-sized international Insurance Broker operating across the Lloyd’s and London insurance markets. They are a well-established and well recognised business with ongoing and successful growth in the U.K and Internationally. The compliance analyst will support the head of compliance in implementing  the compliance framework in a second line role working closely with the front line business providing technical compliance support and advice.

 

Main Duties:

• Closely partner with the business to provide advice, support and guidance to the business and senior management on all regulatory and compliance matters.
• Develop and implement the compliance framework, supporting the business to identify, monitor and govern all regulatory and compliance risks.
• Help to deliver the compliance monitoring programme ensuring the business is meeting regulatory requirements and all policies, procedures and systems are in line with company compliance plan.

Experience:

• Previous experience within a regulatory and compliance position.
• Knowledge and experience of the insurance market and its associated risks, ideally within the Lloyd’s or London market.
• Compliance monitoring experience.
• Understanding of the FCA’s sourcebooks and its practical application the insurance.
