Position Overview:

The Commercial Finance Manager will be integrated with National Account Managers, who are managing retailers’ accounts and will be responsible for delivering world class sales analytics for all of SharkNinja’s products to maximize retailers’ as well as SharkNinja’s profitability and revenue.  This position will be based in SharkNinja’s Wakefield office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales team as 'In-house account champion’ to drive all retailer analysis and presentations: Lead Line Review Prep, ePOS Analysis, Promotional Analysis, Assortment Analysis, Inventory Analysis, Competitive Analysis, Customer Presentations, and Strategic Account Planning. Pro,
  • Manage goals and objectives of multiple projects at the same time
  • Monitor profitability and work with other departments and Sales VPs to impact top line and bottom line. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to define and manage success factors to develop and a drive a plan to win on each retail account.
  • Work closely with NAM on monthly retailer EPOS and shipping forecasts using analysis and insights.
  • Measure & communicate all causal influences on sales results; i.e. promotional lift and elasticity, expected shifting due to line extensions, pricing strategy, etc.
  • Participate in meetings / calls with retail customers to articulate various trends in the market and discuss areas of opportunity
  • Work closely with Finance teams to ensure pricing and promotional support are planned and accounted for correctly.

  • Ability to handle large amounts of data & data-mine to draw strategic insights in different formats, with a sense of urgency, and succinctly represent it in PowerPoint Ability to work in an engaging and fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Willingness to consistently and aggressively challenge the way reporting & analysis has been done in the past to uncover new & improved ways of operating
  • Capable of juggling multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude
  • Strong detail orientation with proven ability to work quickly and deliver accurate and actionable information
  • Agility – must thrive in a fluid and changing environment
  • This role will suit an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified candidate who has a commercially driven background and has experience in business partnering or sales facing accounting.
  • Personality for this role is key, as is the ability to deal with non finance stakeholders
  • Ability to develop strong loyalty with sales team


Education and Experience:

  • 4 - 7 Years of Sales Analyst Experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced experience using Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
