Commercial Finance Analyst

Position Overview:

The Commercial Finance Category Analyst will work within and support the Commercial Finance Team, who are managing retailers’ accounts and will be responsible for delivering world class sales analytics for all of SharkNinja’s products to maximize retailers’ as well as SharkNinja’s profitability and revenue.  This position will be based in SharkNinja’s Wakefield office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• We are recruiting for two analysts – one for our Shark brand and another for our Ninja brand.
• To be the in house expert on all categories the brand operates within.  Utilize syndicated data sources and provide insights on category trends, market share, and other factors impacting performance.
• Drive market & financial analysis and insights to all functions of the company (Executive Team, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) by utilizing ePOS data, syndicated sources and other pertinent data sources.
• Provide insights on competitor activity and its effects on performance.
• Shark Brand - Work closely with the Brand Ambassador Team to provide regular and useful performance reporting, including but not limited to:
  • Payroll
  • League Tables
  • Incentive Performance
• Assist Media Manager with assessing impact of media on EPOS
• Sales Analytics
  • Work with Commercial Finance Manager to assist reporting on larger retail accounts.
  • 'In-house account champion’ for D2C business as well as smaller retail accounts: Lead Line Review Prep, ePOS Analysis, Promotional Analysis, Assortment Analysis, Inventory Analysis, Competitive Analysis, Customer Presentations, and Strategic Account Planning. 
• Ad hoc analysis as and when required.

• Strong excel skills
• Capable of juggling multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude
• Experience developing category insights an advantage
• Strong detail orientation with proven ability to work quickly and deliver accurate and actionable information
• Agility – must thrive in a fluid and changing environment
• Strong communication skills
• CIMA qual/PQ ideal but not necessary
