Newable provides professional business services to help companies start out, scale up and internationalise to grow the heart of the UK economy.

Newable is the UK’s leading provider of Responsible Finance to businesses who struggle to access funding from mainstream banks. We aim to issue over £30m in loans in the coming year. Newable is one of the Department for International Trade’s leading delivery partners. In 2016, we helped companies generate £2.9m of export sales. Early this year we acquired the London Business Angels. Later this year we are aiming to launch further Development Capital funds. Over 370 companies are based at light industrial parks developed and managed by Newable Properties. We have a further three developments in the pipeline.

Newable is a company limited by guarantee with a strong social and commercial purpose. Our CEO was appointed in 2016. He has developed a bold vision for the company rebranding, developing the range of innovative services and setting an agenda for ambitious growth.  We relocated into an impressive headquarters building in April 2017.

This is therefore a time of dynamic change for Newable. We are seeking non-executive directors who share our passion and ambition for supporting entrepreneurs and businesses in realising their potential, who have experience of supporting and shaping fast growth companies, who have expertise in finance and governance or people, change management, culture, remuneration.  Newable is a values-driven business. We are looking for non-executive directors who share our values and who work in a positive and collegiate manner.
