Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.
This is a rare opportunity for a Financial Controller to join Unicef UK. This is a crucial position, responsible for producing internal management accounts and external statutory financial statements. You will have a central role in the planning, budgeting and forecasting process for the whole organisation. You will also provide financial advice and support within Unicef UK, flagging potential problems and making appropriate recommendations for solutions. You will be responsible for managing two Financial Assistants, coaching and mentoring them to reach their full potential.
With a recognised CCAB qualification, you will have significant experience of leading on budgeting and financial forecasting and of preparing statutory accounts, and preparing and analysing financial information. You will be an effective communicator, able to work co-operatively across teams and departments to achieve both organisational objectives and results for the world’s children.
