A nationwide retail client is looking for a Financial Analyst to join them for a 3 month contract to help with an exciting project. The role will be to ensure accurate reporting and accounting of inventory including a project to review all inventory and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out a details review of all internal procedures relating to inventory.
Including stock interactions, and process mapping
- Recommend improvements to existing processes
- Understand and advise on the impact of financial accounting on sales costs and gross margins.
- Coordinate and track project timeline
- Work with and advise buying teams
About the ideal candidate
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or CA)
- Experience working in a finance department in a retail environment
- Advanced demonstrable PC and excel skills (V look ups and pivot tables)
- Project management experience
- Audit Background is preferable
- Great communication skills
- Strong problem solver
- Organised and good attention to detail
