Interim Internal Auditor / Compliance Specialist

Our client is a local employer of choice, considered as a high end consumer organisation that has a global reach. An exciting opportunity for a Junior Compliance Specialist has presented itself due to a heavy workload within a successful business area.

Within this exciting role the Junior Compliance Specialist will be exposed to senior stakeholders across the business from finance right through to operations and including C-Suite Executives. As this role is highly visible to senior stakeholders within the company, the Junior Compliance Specialist will be in business function that offers excellent exposure - this role will suit a diligent and confident individual with a keen eye for detail.

You will report into the Internal Controls Manager and support with conducting risk reviews across various business functions. You will be involved in high level meetings feeding back progress to management relating to specific compliance reviews and test programmes.

Person Specification

- Studying towards an Accountancy qualification

- Previous exposure within internal controls / audit / risk analysis

- Good academics including Degree, will consider graduates with work experience (sandwich year)

- Ability to work independently and self motivated

- Excellent communication skills and confident with dealing with senior stakeholders
