The Brewster Pratap Recruitment Group are working with a growing business in Harrogate to recruit an Interim Finance Manager.
THE COMPANY
This fast paced, growing SME in Harrogate is currently looking to appoint an Interim Finance Manager on a 12 month basis to join their busy department and cover a maternity leave within the team.
THE JOB
This person will provide key support and have responsibility for the following areas:
- Cash and banking reconciliations
- Payroll responsibility (over 200 employees)
- Processing VAT returns
- Treasury
- Assisting with monthly management accounts
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will ideally fulfil the following criteria:
- Qualified accountant (or qualified by experience)
- Must have relevant payroll experience (ideally managing a payroll of over 100 employees)
- VAT experience
- Candidates will ideally have experience in an SME environment within a fast paced business where there is a need to be "hands on" and meet tight deadlines
