Newly Qualified ACA Accountant

A leading FTSE business through organic growth is looking for two newly qualified ACA’s to join a dynamic and commercial finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a bright individual to join a team going through a positive transition, to make their mark within the business and catapult their career.

The role reports into a dynamic Financial Controller and will see the individual work closely with a very commercial Finance Director in a small Head office team.  You will be the principal finance owner of the internal trading statement process and model, own the balance sheet and cash flow reporting and presentation of this to the Operating Committee and Board and will assist in the review of the annual and half year financial statement, Annual Report and prelim results.  Away from the weekly/monthly cycle, you will act as the key finance representative on various project teams concerned with the adoption of new accounting standards (IFRS 9, 15 and 16 primarily) and will assist  in developing best practice procedures and improvements for both internal Group Finance processes and reporting processes and procedures across the wider Finance Group. You will also work with the finance team to in building new controls and procedures bringing Group Finance to where it should be for a business of this size.
