Great new position working for a global Music giant that has materialised due to an internal promotion.
This is a great, all round role for someone who has qualified within the last couple of years and wants to work within a busy but relaxed environment.
The role has a nice blend of responsibilities and requires an individual who has a genuine interest in music.

The role:
- Month end duties including accruals, income, Gross profit variances again budget;
- Month end reporting, reviewing overheads and revenue analysis;
- Manage the production of revenue figures for monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting;
- Maintain/improve client profitability reports through in depth analysis;
- Maintain fixed asset register;
- Prepare statutory accounts for various entities under IFRS and manage the audit process for these areas;
- Balance Sheet reconciliations;
- Prepare various HMRC returns (VAT, EC Sales);
- Process royalty payments, royalty creditor reconciliations and integrate payment information to the client dashboard;
- Assist with budgeting & forecasting;
- Reconcile un-couped advances; ensuring suitable provision is taken against specific deals based on deals earning history, projected earnings and ageing;
- Assist with dormant company liquidations;
- Ad hoc projects including acquisitions & organisational change.
The person:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent);
- Relevant experience (Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Month end, Statutory Accounts etc) ideally gained within a Music or Media company or a non corporate environment;
- Strong team player with excellent attention to detail and the ability to ensure everyone meets their deadlines;
- Advanced Excel;
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills;
- Ability to challenge and influence others;
- Diligent, conscientious and highly organised.
