As the Commercial Finance Manager you will be a crucial part of a team providing comprehensive commercial support, value adding management reporting and analysis to the business with a view of supporting and challenging the business through KPI analysis. You will play a key role in the production of periodic forecasts and budgets for the various entities in line with Group reporting requirements. Reporting into the Head of Finance, job holder will develop strong working relationships with non finance manager as well as the Group Finance stakeholders.

You will alos be responsible for:

  • Production of regular management reports, including weekly trading reports and monthly performance review packs, providing insightful commentary about business performance
  • Undertake regular performance reviews with the commercial manager, analysing business performance, understanding trends and key drivers and developing action plans to address issues
  • Develop KPIs and other statistics to provide insight into business performance. Interpret, discuss and present findings to support effective decision making
  • Perform 'what if' modelling on various initiatives and prepare business cases for investment opportunities
  • Prepare periodic forecasts and budgets including completion of all schedules, commentary and analysis

  • Fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in managing and balancing the demands of different stakeholders
  • Demonstrable evidence of taking the initiative and working independently to drive a number of different projects
  • Driven to continue development within the Finance community
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills
  • Ability to challenge constructively when required to do so
  • Ability to develop effective relationships across functional areas
