Interim Management Accountant

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Qualified/Qualified by Experience Management Accountant for a period of 6 months to cover maternity leave for a well established organisation based on the outskirts of Stockport.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the monthly management accounts production to tight deadlines while providing support to non-finance colleagues and budget holders. This is a hands-on role, working with a small, close knit team. Duties will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts to tight deadlines
• Cashflow forecasting with analysis into variances
• Preparation of accruals, prepayments and journals
• Preparation of reports for senior management groups
• Provide on-going support to budget holders, advising them on their spend
• Provide high quality financial information and interpretation to aid business decisions

You will already have strong management accounting experience in a similar role and be a Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE accountant and be available for your next contract. You will have experience of working in excel (vlookups, pivots) and be comfortable packaging and presenting financial data to seniors at all levels.

In return for your commitment to the role, you can expect a salary of up to £38,000 plus a £2,000 retention bonus payable following successful completion of the assignment. In order to be considered, you must be available to commence the role at the beginning of September 2017.
