Interim Assistant Accountant role for an SME based near High Wycombe

Your new company
Hays are recruiting for a local SME near High Wycombe with free parking.
The job opportunity is for an Assistant Accountant who is happy to work full time in this varied, hands on job.
You will need to be able to start this job as soon as next week, and be happy to commit to a minimum of three months.


Your new role
You will be supporting the Finance Director with everything from Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, VAT, General Ledger, Cashbook, and cashflow. This is a truly varied job and will require you to work autonomously and pro actively. There will also be various Finance projects on Excel that need to be carried out.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced transactional accounting professional with a CV that demonstrates accounting in varied roles. A bookkeeping background would be suitable, or an Assistant Accounting background.
The ability to answer debits and credits queries is essential.
Strong Excel skills are important - lookups, tables, and data manipulation.
