Reporting the to the Financial Controller the core elements of the role will require you to…
- Work in close liaison with the Estates department in providing financial support in reporting and monitoring of the Trusts capital programme.
- Provide support to both Estates colleagues and Operation Managers in the production of capital business cases.
- Support the Head of Planning and Income in the production, revision and maintenance of the Trusts 5 year long term financial model covering income, expenditure, capital and balance sheet. This will include sensitivity analysis and risk assessment of the projections.
- Lead on asset valuation exercises ensuring that valuations are accounted for correctly – impairments (including correct categorisation of impairments); reversal of impairments; revaluation reserve; etc.
- Accurate calculation and profiling of depreciation charges.
You’ll need to be:
- A keen self starter currently studying for your accountancy qualification ideally a finalist or newly qualified
- Good communication skills
- Commercially aware
- Have an eye for detail
- Used to hitting tight deadlines
- Flexible
