Financial Accountant

Global Accounting Network has partnered with a boutique trading company in South East London to secure a Financial Accountant for their growing finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant to come into a newly created role and make it their own. It is ideally suited to someone who likes challenge and complexity and is ready to make their mark in a business

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of stat accounts under UK GAAP
• Being the point of contact for group audit
• Be the ‘go-to’ person for technical accounting queries
• Preparation of VAT and corporate tax returns
• Consistently develop and maintain best practice financial controls
• Drive and deliver a complex month and year end process
• Preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation

The ideal candidate will match the following:

• Qualified accountant with practice and/or listed company experience

• Knowledge and understanding of complex consolidations
• Experience working with transfer pricing
• Experience of preparing and submitting VAT and Tax returns
