Finance Manager

Your new company
This is a really unique opportunity to join a business as they look to develop their finance function in West London. With a business currently operating out of Copenhagen and Miami, the company will effectively be in start up phase in the UK. The have introduced a new technology to the market and have an exceptional operational team.

Your new role
The role will be reporting directly into the CFO who is currently in London, but looking to develop and train his successor as he moves out to Miami. The position will be tasked with identifying and implementing process improvements as well as delivering both statutory and management accounts on a timely basis. You will be required to be present in operational meetings, establishing finance as a key part of the organisations strategic processes.
The successful applicant will be responsible for two internationally based transactional staff and will have a long term mandate to build the HQ in London.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have the drive and determination to move a business forward in the long term, communicating and making non finance see the value in the function. With the foundation of being a qualified accountant, you will need to be looking to work in a high growth environment and have the ambition to do so. You will need to have the capability to take ownership for statutory function and liaison with auditors.

What you'll get in return
The CFO is looking to invest his time in developing his staff, he wants someone who can become the FC and eventually lead the HQ from London. You will be given scope to make a function your own, so the opportunity will put you into the deep end and no doubt expand your professional skill set.
