Your new role
A new position of Senior Management Accountant has been created to support the business as it continues to grow. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for improving and developing the management reporting and redesigning the management pack to ensure that it provides the business with the best and most relevant information in the quickest and most efficient time frame. You will work closely with department heads to understand what information is key, and ensure that reporting meets the needs of the business.

The business is also looking to implement Microsoft AX in the finance function, and the Senior Management Accountant will play a lead role in the implementation here and at another site.

Once the implementations have been completed you will continue to support the Managing Director producing monthly management accounts and effective reporting for the business, and you will also supervise the work of a small team.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate is likely to be a qualified accountant, and will have experience of manufacturing, distribution or stock. You will have been involved in an ERP implementation, and experience of Microsoft AX would be extremely advantageous. You will be able to demonstrate how you have improved reporting and developed processes to ensure that finance adds value to the wider business.
