Finance Manager

I am recruiting a Finance Manager to maintain the accounting team for a growing educational establishment located in North London.

Working term- times only (39 weeks per year) and reporting directly to the Finance and Resources Director, the key roles and responsibilities include:


* Report to senior members of staff on financial processes and accounting systems
*Monitor purchase orders and transactions ensuring prompt payment of invoices and BAC's
*Maintain forecasts, including month-end and budget-setting
*Oversee monthly reconciliations and compliance alongside input of information
*Ensure statutory accounts are produced accurately and within deadlines
*Assist with outstanding debts
*Support all academy staff on crucial financial elements and ensuring their level of understanding is to a high standard


The desired candidate will be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CCAB, CIMA), although this is not essential if there is a vast experience within finance. Excellent written and oral skills are essential alongside proficient knowledge using accounting systems. This role is part of a developing team looking for someone who aims to establish successful relationships on all levels partnering with the ability to support others.
