Chief Financial and Operating Officer

This PE backed manufacturing and distribution organisation has recently secured a re-financing package that will facilitate substantial growth through the completion of two UK acquisitions and the establishment of international operations in Europe and the Middle East. The turnover is forecast to expand from c£25m to c£45m following the implementation of these initiatives.

The requirement is for a CFO to provide financial and operational support to a sales focused CEO and the executive board.

To be suitable for the role you will have the following background and attributes:

• A fully qualified accountant.
• A background in owner-managed or PE backed businesses at main board level.
• Experience of systems implementation / development.
• Experience of operational aspects particularly in the area of performance management.
• Experience of acquisitions and, in particular, integration management.
• Ideally, experience of international operations on a multi-site basis.

The strategic plan in the short to medium term is to successfully implement the stated acquisitions and international development then look to use this platform to further expand the business and exit within a 3 to 4 year time-scale.
