Financial Controller job for a London based branch of a global hotel chain
Your new company
This is a Financial Controller role for a branch of a global hotel chain, ensuring the effective financial management across the group. This brand is looking for a newly qualified hotel accountant to join the team of four in finance, and the role reports into the cluster finance manager.
Your new role
This vacancy will be filled by a qualified accountant with strong Financial Management skills and the ability to deliver value-adding management and reporting.
Key responsibilities include
- Responsibility for the accounting records and financial reports of the hotel
- Deliver high quality management reporting packs
- 4 direct reports
- Optimise and develop systems to improve efficiency and information
- Managing property planning and forecasting
- Leading the finance team, including team recruitment and maximising efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in the hostel industry is essential, as is an accountancy qualification. This role requires strong organisation skills, and the ability to drive change where necessary. Excel skills are necessary and experience streamlining systems would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
