Finance Director

Our client, a multi site retailer, requires an experienced Financial Director with keen commercial instincts to partner with the private equity backers and CEO. The company is backed by a well regarded Private Equity House with a proven track record of achieving growth, and this is a great opportunity to make a mark at an early stage.

The business has multiple commercial outlets and priorities include quality of customer service, geographical growth and constant product development and improvement. Candidates will be expected to make strong use of available data to inform analysis and decision making.

The responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

• Upgrading the sophistication and transparency of the financial structure
• Developing, monitoring, reporting and interpretation of business KPIs, and business strategy as part of management board team
• Evaluating profit and cost efficiencies in both their wholesale and retail business
• Expertise in multi site businesses, inventory, cash flow and fast paced stock management
• Provide trading support for the private equity house
• Conduct data analysis to develop commercial offerings

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on, enthusiastic leader with experience working as FD in a PE backed business, preferably in retail, wholesale or e-commerce industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated team player to undertake an integral role in the growth and management of a standout company.
