Your New Role

Your new role of 'Financial Accountant' is to take ownership and responsibility for the integrity and financial accounting for the business. You will be assisting with the year-end process and preparing financial accounts under IFRS. Preparation of a comprehensive weekly cash schedule for fund movements and drawdowns and large contractor payments. Preparation of the year end accounts and direct liaison with external auditors. Working closely with Property Directors, Jersey Administrators and Accounts Clerks on both day to day matters and ad hoc projects. Liaison with Managing Agents concerning service charge reporting for various properties. Dealing with Joint Venture Partners in respect of reporting and monitoring

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a strong and motivated individual. Good communicator, who pays attention to detail. Fully qualified with ACA. Solid technically with knowledge of IFRS. Solid understanding of processes and procedures in line with consolidation accounting. Experience in tax or private equity advantageous.
