Head of Finance Transformation

A leading international FTSE250 organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Finance Transformation to join them on a permanent basis to lead the finance workstreams of a business-wide transformation in line with their strategic goal of becoming a FTSE100 business by 2020.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership of the finance transformation workstream

Managed global process leads whilst working alongside external consultants to design and implement best in class processes

Input into shared service centre design and strategy

Leading the review of existing finance resources and capabilities

Maintain workstream governance, including key project risk management and programme reporting

Working with key stakeholders, and the Global Design Process Lead to drive the gap analysis of the “as is” and “to be” states of finance processes

Build a strong network of key finance stakeholders across operating companies

Work closely with the IT leadership group to consider the use of technology across all finance processes

Involvement in delivery of the change management and communications strategy for the project

Candidate Profile:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with more than 10 years’ experience working in finance transformation

Must be willing to travel up to 50%

Proven track record of successful implementations of finance transformations in a shared service environment, and delivery of a target operating model (TOM)

In-depth knowledge of finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R) and sub-processes, including design and optimisation

Demonstrable experience of defining and delivering process design and improvement initiatives, including knowledge of lean or six sigma principles

We are able to offer £120,000 per annum plus package incl. 30% bonus, 20% LTIPS & benefits

Based in Surrey with 50% global travel
