Financial Accountant

A newly created opportunity for a recently qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Financial Accountant to join the head office finance team within this rapidly growing service sector business.  Ideally looking for a first move in to industry from Practice, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Finance Director and Financial Controller with the financial management of the Group as needed. 

As Financial Accountant, you will work closely with the Financial Controller, ensuring that all accounting entries are processed in a manner which is consistent with the Group’s legal entity structure.  This will include

• Ensuring that all intercompany transactions are correctly recorded and eliminated for management accounts purposes
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Internal analysis 
• Journal updates. 

You will be heavily involved , assisting the FC, in the annual audit process, testing and systems updates and ensuring that all UK regulatory returns are submitted on a timely basis.

As a highly numerate, qualified Accountant you will have strong technical accounting skills, effective verbal and written communication and a strong knowledge of Excel.  This is an exciting opportunity that will provide personal development, growth and long term career progression as a first move into commerce from the Profession, or if you are looking to further build on your existing commercial experience post qualification.
