Cottsway is a thriving Housing Association with over 4,500 homes based in West Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. We are working to address the growing gap between average incomes and the cost of buying or renting a home by providing affordable solutions. We have a target to build 750 new homes over the next five years, for affordable rent and shared ownership.
As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for preparing the monthly financial reporting packs, and play a key role in the annual budget setting process. You will have the ability to effectively Business Partner across all areas of the organisation so that accurate forecasts and key variances can be analysed and explained.
Working closely with the business heads throughout the organisation you will take responsibility for producing key management information such as KPIs, collating and inputting data packs for benchmarking. Evaluating benchmarking information in order to drive improvement and efficiencies across the organisation will also be an important aspect of this role.
The successful person will be CCAB qualified and have strong Excel modelling skills including the design and development of reports suitable for presentation across all levels of the organisation. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work to tight reporting deadlines in a relatively fast paced environment. We will obtain a Standard DBS check for the successful candidate, which will be paid for by Cottsway.
