Stanton House are currently working with a leading Technology business based on the Surrey/Hampshire border to help recruit an Interim Financial Accountant for a period of initially 6 months. Our client is looking to transition to a new ledger system and need a technically capable Accountant to assist during this project period. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, be proactive, enthusiastic and have strong system skills.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and controls for accounts that have transferred from the SSC over to the UK team
- Month end journals (accruals and prepayment) preparation and posting
- Supporting bank clearing and reconciliation
- Inter-company processing and reconciliation
- Supporting fixed asset register maintenance
- Ad Hoc analysis and reporting
- General transition support
Skills/Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified
- Have previous finance operations experience (preferably balance sheet control, inter-company and fixed assets)
- Strong excel & system skills
