Financial Reporting Manager
Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, our client is an exciting, growing business looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team.
This job would suit an ACA qualified accountant with a practice background, strong technical accounting experience and developed financial reporting skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate internal and external reporting in accordance with both local regulations and US GAAP requirements.

The successful individual will be a practice trained Qualified Accountant (ACA) with a strong working knowledge of UK and US GAAP and experience of UK statutory reporting. Experience in working for a US multinational, in a similar position, would be beneficiate and the candidate should have experience managing people and processes. A good analytical skill set and a questioning attitude is essential as is a strong working knowledge of SOX compliance.
Duties will include:
- Coordinate financial and accounting processes to ensure compliance with Corporate and local policies
- Oversee month end close process to ensure timely and accurate close
- Ensure all activities are SOX compliant and take ownerhship of the SOX Closing Cycle controls.
- Prepare draft of statutory accounts in line with FRS102 and statutory reporting pack in line with US GAAP
- Balance Sheet and Assets Management: work with all business Unitisr to achieve effective balance sheet and assets management, tracking and safeguarding of the company assets.
- Manage the audit process as princpal point of contact for both internal and expternal Audits.
- Participate in special projects to help improve processes and reporting in a growing finance function
- Ad hoc duties in line with overall responsibilities
