Project Accountant

A Public Body based in Greater Manchester are looking to recruit a Revenue and Capital Projects Accountant on a permanent basis.

I am working exclusively with a Public Body in the Greater Manchester area, which is looking to recruit a Revenue and Capital Projects Accountant on a permanent basis. Your new role
You'll provide financial support and advice to all ongoing or prospective revenue and capital projects within the organisation; including business case development, advice on funding, financial modelling, scheme appraisal and ongoing reports. To provide financial analysis to aid decisions in relation to revenue management issues.
Responsibility for all staff budgets and full ownership and management of a £350m project within the organisation that is due to run until 2020.

What you will need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with at least one year's post qualification experience with previous experience working in a project accounting or finance business partner position. You'll have a good understanding of providing financial management support to a customer service focused organisation and a good understanding of capital and/or revenue project financial management. Competent in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
