Financial Controller - Qualified- Dover
Leading insurance company based in Kent seeking Qualified Financial Controller to join on a permanent basis. The Financial Controller will deputise to the Head of Commercial Finance and the primary tasks of the role are to deliver management accounts and forecasts, lead internal reporting functions, complete tax returns and provide support to external audit. A proactive approach to management is key and all round technical accounting knowledge preferred. Candidates must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified to apply.

Financial Controller duties include:

  • Management and financial accounting
  • Monthly statutory reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Tax and Solvency returns
  • Process control and reviews
  • System testing and problem detecting
  • Managing and leading a team


Ideal candidates will have an insurance background, strong knowledge of Solvency II and IFRS requirements with a keen eye for detail with a positive and proactive nature.
