About the Management Accountant:

Reporting into the European Finance Director, the Management Accountant will be responsible for the financial accounting of both the French and Belgian entities. In addition, you will be required to reconcile the project balance sheet accounts for large projects across multiple entities throughout Europe.

Key responsibilities include the following:

• Ensuring that all accounting processes are operating effectively for the European entities;
• Manage each entity's balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and that all accounts are understood and reconciled each month;
• Manage month-end close, ensuring deadlines are met and produce draft P&Ls & Balance Sheets
• Ensure that monthly results are communicated effectively
• Reconcile the statutory accounts to the management accounts for the European entities
• Manage all internal and external audits (tax and corporate)

This Management Accountant role would suit a fluent French speaking, qualified accountant (or overseas equivalent) with some experience in a similar role within a professional services environment.
