Finance Business Partner

As a market leader within an intensely competitive sector, the need for continual improvement and innovation is a must within this business. You would form the glue between the finance team and their large and sophisticated purchasing function, providing greater insight and forecasting capabilities. This in turn will help shape key decisions around sales packages, cost management and, as a result, margin enhancement.

You would form an idea of how the purchasing and trading teams work in order to start to build a more accurate, insightful picture for the wider business. Data driven, meaningful insight will be the key to what you do and you will be comfortable challenging the norm, suggesting changes and offering solutions. You will act as a genuine business partner, supporting decisions, conducting investment appraisal, planning, forecasting and overseeing a number of month end processes.

With this in mind, the role is for somebody with great ambition and confidence. The model is complex, and you will have a number of senior stakeholders taking an interest in what you do, as this is an area that has been highlighted as a great opportunity to enhance margin growth. You will either be a recently qualified or late stage studying part qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA). Attitude will be as important as experience to date, as this is a central role in what this business will look to achieve in the next few years. South London based.
