Based in North Oxford my client are looking to recruit a finance business partner for a 12 month term to support the Head of Finance.

In this role will be able to make a real difference and be responsible for bringing financial challenge and insights to facilitate organisational decision making.

You will support the Head of Finance by,

Review and analysis of monthly management accounts and forecasts

Reviewing and challenging organisational budgets and forward plans, leading operating reviews to monitor performance and support budget holders

Develop the service provided to budget holders along business partner lines, promoting good financial management, accountability, efficiency and value for money

Review and revise budget and management accounting models to ensure fit with revised strategic priorities and activities; use system tools available to maximise efficiency

Supporting the development and fundraising teams with financial advice and creating tools to aid clear and transparent budgeting

Support the creation of an organisation wide KPI framework to accurately track progress against strategic goals and aid executive decision making

Supporting the implementation of a revised cash management strategy

Provide financial advice to budget holders and project leads as required, including support with business cases or costings, modelling, variance analysis

Support operational managers in the development of business or investment proposals with advice/help in financial modelling
