Brewster Pratap are recruiting for a manufacturing company in South Yorkshire who are looking for a Finance Manager
The Job
This job will report to the Finance Director and will work part of a cross disciplinary team and is central to the effective operation of the company. The role helps to improve business performance by providing timely and relevant information and analysis to the management team in order to make informed decisions that contribute to the effective operation of the business
Accurate and timely provision and communication of routine weekly and monthly management information
Provision of a comprehensive decision support service to the Sales and Operations functions
Deliver all aspects of commercial and manufacturing variance analysis. Identification, investigation, challenging and reporting
Identification of issues and opportunities and effective communication to management
Respond to day to day requests for financial management information
Ensure the right information is available to make financial decisions and that complex data is presented in a clear and compelling way
Budgeting and forecasting and analysing and presenting results
Product and standard costing
Cost improvement projects
Managing 1 member of staff
The Person
Qualified Accountant with extensive management accounting experience in a manufacturing environment and a high level of financial and commercial acumen. You will need standard costing and analysis of material usage and price variances experience along with excellent IT skills. You will need to be pro active at forging key working relationships across all functions and be able to meet tight deadlines in a fast moving environment
